Here are two side-by-side comparisons of the most recent Windows and Macintosh SlingPlayers Windows is running in Parallels Desktop for Mac 2.5 build 3094. The Windows video quality is obviously superior HOWEVER . . . Notice the bit rates in the top screenshot and the frame rates in the bottom screenshot The Windows player is streaming over my office LAN and is Mac streaming from my home over 10/1 cable Frankly, I'm impressed with BOTH players. I'll do the reverse comparison tonight. |
